July 29th: 1st Day of the Last Series of Activities

Another beautiful Northwoods day! We had another day of amazing weather! We started the day with some oatmeal which gave us the fuel we needed for another day at Timberlane.

Today marked the start of our final activity series for this session. Campers were excited about the new set of activities. The first day of a new series of activities is always very, very cool to watch, as a lot of campers continue to grow and work in the activities they have already done. And a time for campers to try new things that might become their lifelong passion. After a great morning of activities, we had chilli for lunch and continued the fun for the afternoon.

We had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. The kitchen made a great batch of homemade spaghetti sauce. After a fun and productive day, we capped things off with a fan favorite: Cabin Challenge Games for evening program. Each younger cabin had the chance to challenge an older cabin to a sport of their choice. There were intense gaga matches, some great soccer, and the PAs playing some trampball.

The session may be winding down, but the energy here is still full throttle. More fun to come tomorrow!

Benches up,
