A great day of activities and sunshine at camp today!
Today at camp we dove into our second day of the 6th series of activities with enthusiasm, and the drop in temperature to the mid-70s made everything a bit more energetic and enjoyable. We started our day with a classic pancakes and sausages breakfast, and then got busy cleaning cabins and heading out for the day’s adventures.
Lunch was hot dogs and baked beans, and then the afternoon resumed. The afternoon sees the climbing wall and pickleball courts in heavy use, along with the golf area and our version of athletics class but in the swim area, Water Games. At free period, the campers shifted gears a bit and hit the showers to get ready for an evening at Chippewa Ranch Camp!
Tonight, our campers enjoyed a truly enjoyable performance of the Disney classic, “Frozen”, while also socializing and playing games at Chippewa. The boys were gentlemen, as usual, and the campers and staff of Chippewa were gracious hosts. The day ended on the late side, but it was worth it, and tomorrow more adventures (and great weather) await!
Hope your day was wonderful too!
Best wishes,
Jeff Melrose
