After a fun and full cruiser day, we gave the campers a little extra shut-eye with a well-deserved half-hour sleep-in this morning. The day started with some pancakes.
Today marked the beginning of our second series of activities for 2nd Session. It was great seeing the campers trying new activities and having fun. For lunch, we had chicken Caesar salad. We had a great rest period with the boys writing letters home. The afternoon was filled with sun and fun. Dinner was delicious, roast beef and mashed potatoes, a delicious home-cooked meal.
We didn’t have a free period in the afternoon because we had to get ready for the ladies from Marimeta to come over for a social! It was a fantastic chance for campers to connect, play games, and have some good old-fashioned camp fun. It was a great time with siblings seeing each other, and both camps having a great time.
We’re off to a great start for the week and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
