Greetings from the Northwoods! After an amazing Cruiser Day yesterday, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved extra half hour of sleep this morning. We kicked off the day with a hearty breakfast of fluffy pancakes and sausage, fueling up for a big day ahead. Today marked our last full day of activities for this session, and the Northwoods really delivered the perfect weather for it. The sun was shining, the breeze was just right, and the campers made the most of every moment.
For lunch we had a camp classic, macaroni and cheese with smokey links. A great way to re-fuel for the afternoon fun. After a relaxing rest period we hopped right back into activities for the afternoon. Camp was full of energy and excitement for the final hours of activities of the session. The staff really did an amazing job making these moments the best for our campers.
After a fantastic afternoon we all feasted on one of the most popular meals at camp. Chicken Wings! Plates were filled with wings and potatoes and faces were covered in sauce. It was a great meal to end our very energetic day. Plus it was just what everyone needed to get ready for an epic EP.
Evening Program tonight was the second round of Capture the Flag. This is a blue and white event and the scores go directly into the big blue and white competition that lasts all summer. The campers all had an amazing time searching for flags and chasing down opponents. It really was a great way to end an even greater day.
Tomorrow we have another day full of surprises so stay tuned and have a great evening. Until next time!
Benches Up,
Ryan McDonough
