July 11th 2024 – Last Day of Activities 1st Session

Today was a beautiful, warm sunny day in the Northwoods. We started the day off with delicious French toast and bacon and strawberries. It was the last day of activities and campers had fun finishing their projects in Arts and Crafts and Pottery, getting a last ski run around the lake, playing in the field and climbing the climbing wall. We ended the morning free period with campers lined up to play the always popular Trampball.

The highlight of lunch was Brian’s amazing chocolate chip cookies! During rest period, we had our last camp council meeting and welcomed back the campers that had been out on trips. Everyone is back in camp! The afternoon was a regular afternoon with a free period with lots of campers taking advantage of a free swim.
As we gathered around the flagpole, it was announced that we would have the always popular fajitas for dinner followed by a huge game of Capture the Flag, one of our final blue and white games. Of course, no final Capture the Flag game would be complete without ice cream for everyone!
It has been such an amazing session, watching your campers grow and learn at their activities, having fun trying new things and most of all making new friends. We can’t wait for you to hear all the stories they will share with you when they get home.
Benches Up,
Corrie and Desi
