An exciting day leading into Titans Day tomorrow!
Today was the day before Titans Day, our big 4-team day-long competition, and the energy was palpable throughout the day. A regular morning and afternoon of activities took place, with another day of gorgeous weather and the return of all our trips. By dinnertime tonight, we had every camper back in camp, and the energy was WILD!
After dinner, we had opening ceremonies for Titans Day, which involves each team telling their story. UN Day is our first session day-long competition, based on nations of the world. Titans Day is themed around mythology and so the storytelling becomes a little more fantasy-based. Our teams tomorrow are Ares, Hercules, Hermes, and the team of Zeus returns for its 3rd time as the winner of the past two summers. Tomorrow morning we will start with some leg wrestling and then a day of great sportsmanship and competition.
It’s a big day tomorrow, and there will be lots to share then. For now, have a good night, and thanks for reading! Best of luck to all teams!!
Also, for those who like to know today’s menu:
Breakfast – Sausage/egg/cheese english muffin sandwiches
Lunch (an all camp favorite) – Chicken patty sandwiches and crinkle-cut fries with chocolate milk
Dinner – Pizza (made in-house, as always!)
Best wishes,
