My name is Henry Anderson and I am the Junior Village Director. As village directors we oversee all the campers in certain age ranges to ensure they are having the summer of their lives. Today, for cruiser day the juniors went out on bus. We got to spend a wonderful and exciting day bonding as a village. We went mini golfing, played a few rounds of laser tag, enjoyed some excellent burgers grilled by our staff, relaxed at the Waters of Minocqua in the afternoon, and finished the day with some pizza and ice cream. I saw many smiling faces throughout the day and I am looking forward to in camp cruiser day next week.
My name is Alex Goldberg, and I am the intermediate village director. Hawk and Sioux went to an Alpaca farm and got to hold, feed, and pet a bunch of animals, including goats, sheep, and skunks. Then they went to Hi Pines, a man-made water park with a bunch of floaty and trampoline devices. They grilled yummy hamburgers there and then went to Culver’s for dinner and ice cream for dessert. Winnebago, Navajo, and Cheyenne all went to Madeline Island and Swam in Lake Superior. Cheyenne finished at Hunan Chinese food while Navajo and Winnebago went to Culver’s. Everyone got ice cream.
My name is Jackson Schneider, and I am the Senior Village director. Today was a great day for the senior village as we enjoyed a nice, lazy day in camp. Starting with an extra sleep-in until 9:30, the seniors then made their way to Pickles’ house to enjoy a pancake, egg, and sausage breakfast bar. After that, the kids enjoyed a few hours of free time, during which they played trampball, disc golf, and visited the weight shack. After that, their counselors all brought in food from town, where they enjoyed pizza and Hunan cuisine. This led to a fun afternoon of waterskiing where every kid got two or more opportunities to ski! The kids all got to try different things and enjoy snacks on the docks. After a great barbeque for dinner, we enjoyed a nice hour in the middle of the lake on the boats listening to music with a chill end to the day. It was a super fun and successful in camp for the senior village.
