Today was another fantastic day at camp! We started the morning with a camper favorite breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. After a hearty meal, campers headed back to their cabins for our daily cleanup routine. As always, campers worked together to keep their cabins looking their best before beginning another busy day around camp.
Today marked the final day of our first series of activities. Campers enjoyed trying new things and building skills over the past week, and we’re excited to begin Series 2 activities on Wednesday. Whether they were out on the waterfront, perfecting their aim in archery, or creating in the arts and crafts building, Campers finished their first activity series on a high note.
Lunch featured sloppy joes and French fries, giving everyone plenty of energy for the afternoon ahead. Following lunch, campers enjoyed a well-deserved rest period. During rest period, they all wrote letters home, so watch out for those!
The afternoon was filled with activities across camp as campers made the most of their final day in their first activity series. Later in the day, campers enjoyed a free period, allowing them to spend time with friends, play games, and enjoy some more fun before dinner.
Tonight’s evening program was the first Blue and White Game of the summer! Campers competed hard to earn points for their teams, showing great spirit, teamwork, and enthusiasm. It was a fun and energetic way to end the day.
Looking ahead, tomorrow is our first Cruiser Day of the summer, and excitement is building across camp. Campers can’t wait for a day filled with special activities, fun, and adventure!
It’s been another great day at camp, and we’re looking forward to all that tomorrow has in store.
Benches Up,
Ryan
