Another fantastic day at camp is in the books! We kicked off the morning with a yummy breakfast of cheesy omelets and sausage links before campers tackled cabin cleanup and headed off to their morning activities. The energy around camp continues to grow as the session rolls on. With beautiful summer weather, amazing activities, and campers eagerly preparing for United Nations Day, today was filled with enthusiasm from sunrise to sunset.
Lunch featured BBQ chicken and crispy tater tots, giving everyone plenty of fuel for a warm afternoon. Despite the summer heat, campers brought incredible energy to their afternoon activities, making the most of every moment. During free period, excitement could be felt all around camp as preparations for United Nations Day continued. Campers spent time getting ready for one of the most anticipated events of the summer, and the anticipation is definitely building!
Dinner brought a comforting meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and sweet carrots before everyone gathered for one of the most meaningful traditions of the summer. Tonight’s evening program was our Legacy Legends Campfire, a special ceremony honoring camp members celebrating 10, 15, and 20 years at camp. Campers shared stories, memories, and words of appreciation for those being recognized, reflecting on the countless ways these dedicated people have shaped the camp community over the years.
Legacy Legends is more than just a celebration of years served, it’s a reminder of the traditions, friendships, and lasting impact that make camp feel like home.
