Today was a typical day! We ran the usual activities, day two of the series, and the weather was once again perfect. We did have a fun morning for our older boys, where they got to head over to a neighboring camp and played a game of ultimate frisbee. We were thrilled they had a good time and demonstrated the good sportsmanship we expect of all our campers, but they also won, which certainly felt good also.
Tonight, the whole camp got to go out and enjoy a thrilling performance of Shrek the Musical at Chippewa Ranch Camp. Our camp has a long-standing reputation of being an excellent audience, and this evening was no different. They were enthusiastic and excited for each number, and when they weren’t being entertained, they got to enjoy some social time with the girls. We certainly appreciate Chippewa inviting us to see the show, and also appreciated the delicious snacks!! We’re looking forward to next year already. I hope it’s Aladdin again!
That’s it for today! It was a late night here, and we’re sleeping in a bit tomorrow morning. Then it’s back to another day of adventures. I hope it’s a great day for you also!
