After two very fun and busy days, today was a welcome day of a slow start followed by a normal schedule. We started the day with our typical Sunday lazy breakfast with admin staff and guest chef, Sam’s dad Mitch cooking made to order breakfast for campers and staff. The cabins needed some good cleaning after our busy couple of days, so we spent a little extra time getting them looking good before heading out to first and second period. Lunch today was a camp favorite: sloppy joes.
After lunch we continued our clean up with an All Camp Pickup where every cabin pitched in to clean up trash and collect lost and found items around camp. A welcome rest period followed All Camp Pickup before we headed into third and fourth period, followed by an afternoon free period. Dinner tonight was a BBQ cookout with hamburgers, baked beans and delicious jello!
Evening program tonight was the always popular camper hunt where campers hide and counselors hunt. Camp is finally quiet for the night and I am guessing everyone is welcoming an early night of sleep, I know I am!
