There’s something special about the rhythm of a day at camp, and today was no exception. We started the morning with a fantastic breakfast of fried eggs, sausage patties, and English muffins before campers got their cabins in order and headed off to another round of morning activities. As the morning came to a close, campers enjoyed a free period with the trampball and tushball courts full of friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of excitement before everyone made their way to lunch. Corndogs and French fries kept everyone fueled up for the afternoon ahead.
After lunch, campers enjoyed a well-deserved rest period to relax and recharge before another afternoon of adventure. Afternoon activities kept everyone busy, and when free period rolled around again, many campers made a beeline for the swim area. With another warm summer day in the Northwoods, the waterfront was the perfect place to cool off, spend time with friends, and enjoy everything camp has to offer.
Dinner featured pizza, which was met with plenty of excitement before campers headed out for a great evening program of Blue and White games. The Blue and White competition is heating up for the summer and campers were very excited to score their teams points! To top off an already memorable evening, campers also had the opportunity to catch parts of the U.S. World Cup match against Belgium. Even though we didn’t come away with the win, it was great to see everyone gather to cheer on the US.
Today really was another great day in the Northwoods. There is a lot of camping left to be done this week and we are all eager to share that with you as it happens. So please stay tuned tomorrow for another update from Camp!
Benches Up,
Ryan
