Today was our first cruiser day, and our village directors gave you a rundown of what they did with their village.
Junior Village – Santi Gonzalez
Junior Village also enjoyed a Bus Cruiser Day filled with fun and adventure. The day began at Hi Pines, where campers spent the morning swimming, playing on the inflatables, and making the most of the lake. After grilling hamburgers for lunch, the group headed to a more relaxed activity with a round of mini golf, playing in groups of four. Everyone gathered at Torpy Park for pizza before ending the day with a well-earned stop at Briq’s for ice cream, with plenty of smiles on the ride back to camp.
Intermediate Village – Alex Goldberg
The Intermediate village had a great van cruiser day! We started our day at Gile park. A Great Lake spot with beautiful water. The cabins grilled burgers and went in and out of the lake on a scorching hot day. It was a blast and very refreshing. Then, the cabins picked up some pizza and burgers and hung out at Torpy park, playing games and throwing frisbees. Before heading back to camp, the cabins stopped for some delicious ice cream.
Senior Village – Noah Coen
Today the senior village had a fantastic in camp cruiser days. The seniors took camp to its fullest ability embarking in trampball, waterskiing, swimming and much much more. We enjoyed some delicious barbecue chicken, corn on the cob, and pasta salad for dinner and finished off the hot day with some tushball and a “boat party” on the lake filled with music and fun. Overall we had a great day and can’t wait for Van cruiser day to finish off our cruiser days for the summer.
It was a wonderful day, and we are so excited for tomorrow!
