One of the highlights of the day was seeing four wilderness trips head out on their adventures! Many of our campers are spending the next several days exploring the Northwoods, making memories on the trail and the water. We can’t wait to hear all about their experiences when they return.
Lunch featured a classic combination of tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. With temperatures climbing throughout the afternoon, campers were happy to take full advantage of a relaxing rest period to recharge before heading back out for more fun.
The afternoon was packed with activities, and the free period was a popular one thanks to the swim area being open. Campers cooled off in the lake, spent time with friends, and enjoyed making the most of another beautiful summer day.
Dinner was a camp classic: spaghetti, garlic bread, and green beans filling everyone up before the evening program.
To wrap up the day, campers participated in a camp-wide scavenger hunt. Teams searched high and low for answers to questions about camp history, staff members, and fun camp facts. It was a great way to learn more about camp while working together and having plenty of laughs along the way. Stay tuned for another great day at camp!
