Today was our 2nd cruiser day, and our village directors gave you a rundown of what they did with their village.
Junior Village – Santi Gonzalez
Junior Village enjoyed an exciting Bus Cruiser Day filled with fun from start to finish. The morning began with a trip to Wausau, where everyone had a great time ice skating. For many campers, it was a brand-new experience, and it was exciting to watch them build confidence, cheer each other on, and fill the rink with laughter. Afterward, the group headed to a nearby park to grill hamburgers for lunch. In the afternoon, campers cooled off at the Weston Aquatic Center, making the most of the water slides and pools on a warm summer day. After returning to Minocqua, the group enjoyed Chick-fil-A nuggets for dinner and wrapped up the day with ice cream at Soap N’ Suds, the perfect ending to a fantastic day together.
Intermediate Village – Alex Goldberg
The cabins ventured out to Saxon Harbor in Michigan for the magnificent sand dunes and to cool off in Lake Superior. Then, back to Torpy Park for Popeyes, Culver’s, and Hunan and ended with some delicious ice cream.
Senior Village – Noah Coen
Today the senior village had a fantastic in camp cruiser day. We had a bit of a sleep in to start the morning where we then went up to pickles house for a nice pancake breakfast. After filling up on some blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes cabins then spread out throughout camp enjoying a quiet morning with the other villages out of camp. After a morning full of pickleball, trampball, skiing and more, we finished it off with some Culver’s and McDonald’s for lunch. After a chill rest period we went right back into activities with some more skiing, paddle boarding, swimming, and more. We then wrapped up the night with some great BBQ chicken. Topping it all off we had a EP full of Ice Cream playing “what would you do for a Klondike bar” to wrap up a great in camp cruiser day in the senior village.
It was a wonderful day, and we are so excited for tomorrow!
