Family Resort at Camp Timberlane

Join us at Timberlane this Summer

We invite you to join us for fun-filled, relaxing experience for everyone.  This is new to us, so we hope you will be patient while we learn as we go.  Below is important information to make sure we’re all safe & healthy, having fun, and being good community members.  It is wordy, but very important.  If you have any questions or concerns along the way, please feel free to ask.

Dates and Fees


We have heard from several families that a change in our date format would be better.  So we have made a slight calendar adjustment.  Family Resort Weeks are now scheduled for:

  • Week 1: Tuesday, June 30 - Sunday, July 5 - SOLD OUT
  • Week 2: Tuesday, July 7 - Sunday, July 12 - SOLD OUT
  • Week 3: Tuesday, July 14 - Sunday, July 19 - SOLD OUT
  • Week 4: Tuesday, July 21- Sunday, July 26 - LIMITED SPACE
  • Week 5: Tuesday, July 28 - Sunday, Aug. 2 - LIMITED SPACE
  • Week 6: Tuesday, Aug. 4 - Sunday, Aug. 9 - SOLD OUT
  • Week 7: Tuesday, Aug. 11 - Sunday, Aug. 16 -SOLD OUT

Arrivals can begin at 2 PM on your starting date.  You will be on your way home by 10 AM on departure date. Families who wish to remain for multiple weeks will have access to most meals during the change of session, though there will be no camp programming during that time.



Family Resort Fees:

Adults (16 y/o & older): $700
Children (5-15 y/o): $350
Children (4 y/o & under): Free

Fees are all-inclusive, covering lodging, food, and all offered activities & programming in camp.  Fees will not be prorated for late arrival or early departure.  Family Resort fees are completely separate from Camp Timberlane fees.  We cannot apply Camp fees to Family Resort fees.



We hope this will not be a factor as we are running on a very tight timeline and budget.  We ask you to please be firm with your plans when you apply for a Family Resort Week.

Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the start of your Family Resort Week will receive a full refund. (For Family Resort Week 1, the time frame is 21 days)
Cancellation 14 days prior to the start of your Family Resort Week will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation within 7 days of the start of your Family Resort Week will not receive a refund.
If an unavoidable issue arises, please contact us and we will work with you.


Camp has wide-open spaces, so your family will be free to roam, play games together, and explore at will.  Activities you can do with your family that are not staffed by camp include:

Baseball/Softball Basketball Soccer Volleyball
Lacrosse Tushball Tennis

We will offer some staffed activities at staggered times during the day.  Those will include:

Waterskiing Canoeing/Kayaking Fishing Swimming
Archery Mountain Biking Rock Climbing

Families will sign up for the above activities after they arrive at camp so we can properly staff them and maintain social distancing between families.  TRAMPBALL will be open as a non-staffed, sign-up activity.  We will include the safety & game rules in your welcome packet so you can review them with your kids.

Some Planned Programs

Cabins and Meals


Each family will have their own “luxurious” cabin.  These will be assigned to you so we can prepare them with the correct number of beds.  Speaking of beds, you will need your own sheets, blankets, pillows & pillow cases (as well as towels for showering and getting in the lake).  The beds are cot size, but twin size linens work just fine.  If you plan to bring an egg-crate style mattress cover, please plan to bring that home with you at the end.  Those cannot go into our garbage.

Each cabin has a bathroom with two sinks, two showers, and a toilet.  And each cabin also has at least two bedrooms.  These are comfortable cabins, and they are rustic.  Portable air-conditioners or heaters, hair dryers, etc. may overload our electrical system and result in a blown breaker.  Please leave those at home.  Fans are just fine.

Cabins will be cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival.  Before you leave camp we will ask you to clean your cabin’s bathroom, sweep the cabin out, and have it ready for our crew to enter and disinfect for our next guests.


We will serve 3 delicious meals each day.  You will receive a copy of our menu when you arrive at camp, and you will be able to choose if you wish to eat at your assigned table in the Lodge, have your meal prepared for carry out, or skip the meal entirely, perhaps to get food elsewhere.  Our social distancing and disinfecting policies pertaining to food service are explained below.  Special dietary needs such as food allergies and vegetarian diets will be accommodated to the best of our ability.  Such needs must be included on your Family Resort application form.

Application Information


To apply for one or more weeks of Timberlane Family Resort, each family will submit an application form online. The application will be available first thing this Wednesday morning. The application must be completed by a parent or legal guardian of the family.  We will accept completed applications on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Applications are complete upon submission AND payment in full of Family Resort fees. Payment can be made by credit card, ACH, or by mailing a check to our Wisconsin PO Box.  Checks must arrive within 7 days of application to confirm the application date.
  • In the event the selected Family Resort Week is not available, we will notify you and you may select a different week or have your payment refunded.
