Our invitations to last summer’s staff to return in 2023 have just recently gone out, and we already have some great folks who will be back again.

Even though it’s only January, we have a great group of returning staff to tell you about. Welcome back to:

Aaron Berns	Aaron is coming back to camp this summer as a Junior Counselor! This will be his 9th summer at camp. He is currently a junior at Beacon Academy, located in Livingston, Illinois. Aaron has been very busy this off-season with school and learning how to scuba dive! Fun Fact, he still has a few of his baby teeth!
Sam Kline	Sam is returning this summer as a Junior Counselor and this will be his 8th year at camp! He is currently a junior at Wolcott College Prep located in Chicago, Illinois. Sam really loves sports and this is why he is a part of the golf, basketball, and volleyball team! It’s safe to say that Sam really enjoys staying active!
Alex Goldberg	Alex is joining us for camp this summer as a Junior Counselor! This will be his 7th summer at camp. He is currently enjoying his junior year at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School located in Deerfield, Illinois. Alex loves hanging out with his friends and can not wait to get back to camp next summer. Something you may not know about him is that he is a master at chess and will accept any challenger!
Gabe Feldman	Gabe is coming back to camp this summer as a Junior Counselor! This will be his 8th summer at camp. He is currently a junior at Highland Park High School located in Highland Park, Illinois. He is always thinking about camp and is very excited to be a counselor for next summer. Gabe’s favorite hobby right now is watching college basketball with his friends!
Jackson Schneider	Jackson is joining us for camp this summer as a Junior Counselor! This will be his 9th summer at camp. He is currently a junior at the University School of Nashville located in Nashville, Tennessee. He is very excited about being a counselor this summer and just to be back at camp! Jackson has some big plans coming up as well. He will be going to Israel for a semester abroad!
Seth Fish	Seth is coming back to camp this summer as a Junior Counselor! This will be his 8th summer at camp. He is currently a junior at Deerfield High School located in Deerfield, Illinois. He is very excited to be coming back to camp next summer! Seth has been very busy with school and managing his fantasy football team. After a tough loss last week, his team sits at 5-5!
Elliot Rubin	Elliot is returning this summer as a Junior Counselor and this will be his 8th summer at camp! He is currently enjoying his junior year at New Trier High School located in Chicago, Illinois. He stays very busy with school and keeping up with all the Chicago sports teams. Elliot is extremely excited to be coming back to camp in 2023 and has a feeling it is going to be one of the best ones yet!

SAY HELLO TO THESE AWESOME FIRST-YEAR STAFF MEMBERS:
John Torgerson	John will be joining Timberlane as a Senior Counselor for his first summer! He is from Liverpool, England and can not wait for his adventure to camp in 2023. He hopes to make great friends and memories while at camp! John is fluent in French and has even taught himself a few more languages. A fun fact about John is he can name any capital city of any country in the world!
Sam Dail	Sam will be joining Timberlane this summer as a Wilderness Trip Leader. This will be Sam’s first year at camp! He is from Grand Ledge Michigan and is currently working as a Ski Rental Technician. Sam went to Central Michigan University and graduated with a communication and recreation degree in 2022. He loves to hike, climb, and ski whenever he gets the opportunity. Sam lives by his saying “if it’s outdoors, I’ll do it”. We are very excited to have him apart of our Trip Leaders for 2023!
