August 3, 2026 – Last Cruiser Day

Today was our last cruiser day, and our village directors gave you a rundown of what they did with their village.

Junior Village – Santi Gonzalez

Junior Village wrapped up the week with Camp Cruiser Day, where each cabin created its own ideal day at camp by choosing six favorite activities. Waterskiing, trampball, and swimming were among the most popular choices, while other cabins took on adventures like mountain biking and climbing in the bouldering cave. For lunch, most cabins enjoyed Culver’s, while others opted for Hunan Chinese cuisine. The day ended with continuous dodgeball and soccer for the Evening Program, bringing the entire village together for a fun and energetic finish.

Intermediate Village – Alex Goldberg

Started the day out at North Lakeland Discovery Center. Hiking trails, birdwatching, a log playground, lakes, bogs, and adventure! Then, to the Hi Pines campsite for burgers, jumping off inflatables, and climbing through obstacles. Finished off the day with pizza and then some ice cream.

Senior Village – Noah Coen

Today was a fantastic van cruiser day in the senior village. Cherokee, Arapaho, and Apache spent the day at Madeline Island. After an early morning drive with some snacks on the way, the cabins arrived on island and went straight to the shores for some cliff jumping. After a break for some burgers for lunch they went right back into their cliff jumping enjoying a great sunny day. They topped their day off with some pizza on the way home followed by some ice cream to finish off a great day. Shawnee on the other hand spent the day at the dunes of Saxon harbor enjoying the sun just like everyone else. With some dinner and dessert they finished off an incredible day.

It was a wonderful day, and we are so excited for tomorrow!
