A normal day of activities with really beautiful weather is always such a treat up here in Woodruff, and today delivered exactly that.
Scrambled eggs got the morning going, chicken burritos fueled the afternoon, and spaghetti closed out dinner the way only a good spaghetti night can.
The evening program was The Quest, and it did not disappoint. Cabins were paired up into teams and sent through a series of challenges that had the boys thinking as much as they were competing. A spelling bee, Rubik’s cube solving, and a whole lot of in between. It was loud, it was fun, and it brought out some surprisingly impressive talent from across camp.
While all of that was happening, our CITs were having a day of their own down at Noah’s Ark in the Wisconsin Dells. A full day off at one of the best waterparks in the country is always a highlight of the CIT calendar, and a well-earned one at that. These young men have been putting in the work, and it was great to see them get a chance to just enjoy themselves.
A wonderful day all around.
Benches Up,
Sam
